Slowing down...

Last night I was so tired my stomach hurt. We have been moving so fast and never getting the chance to stop ever since we got back to the USA. Don't get me wrong - we have been doing a lot of things we love mixed with a lot of things that just have to get done in order to set life back up here. For the next week things are going to be a little bit more normal. We will be here in Tulsa, not traveling, working on support and hosting a dinner to honor our friend Justin Magers.

Today is Justin's birthday. He would be turning 24 today. I am so thankful that we had the privilege to spend his last birthday on earth with him last year but it just is so sad that he isn't here this year. We are going to get to eat lunch with his mom and sister so hopefully we will get to hear some stories about Justin that we don't know and just honor his memory with them. He had such a great impact on our lives.

Remembering that we don't know what tomorrow holds helps me during the times that are so busy. It helps me to slow down, love the people around me, and enjoy every second. It helps me to praise God for the hope that we have in heaven. It really helps me to keep things in perspective. I am so thankful for Justin and all the memories we have with him.

We're Home!!

After about a million hours of flying we are home! We have been with Stephen's family in Winthrop for a few days, then spent a few days in a cabin with my family and now are in Tulsa about to get back to work!! We are going to be in transition for about a month until we move to Ft. Worth!! We are excited about the move but for now are just enjoying getting back to the USA!!
